Barrett had another tough shooting night going 4-15 from the field, 1-4 from FT and 8 turnovers. He did have 10 boards.
Bolden had decent game but only had 2 boards.
Trent had a great game going 10-12 from the floor and had 7-8 threes . Allen also had a strong game.
Hope RJ can get it going. He needs to put his long range shooting on the shelf and find another way to get his points.

I think we could have won a National championship this year if Gary Trent would have stayed for his sophomore year.. Cam probably wouldn’t have came to Duke, but Gary is the exact type of player this year’s team lacked.

I'm not worried about RJ. Think he still has a great shot to win Rookie of The Year considering the Knicks are gonna be dreadful, he's gonna put up solid stats.

He's not making shots at the moment. But one thing I've noticed, he's gotten JACKED. RJ's arms don't look how they looked when he was at Duke.

Lead the team with 17pts on 6-13fg and 5-5 from the line. Had the winning defensive play at the end of the game, and enabled his team to win. See what i did there?

I will say, I watched the very end of the game and Grayson got a good amount of screen time and a mention for his heady sense of anticipation (I think that's what they said). It's sometimes forgotten how athletic Grayson is. He just needs to start hitting his shot (0 for 3 last nigh on 3 pointers).

Announcer was right about Allen being short on his 3’s due to not using his legs. . One bounced around and could have easily gone in but the other 2 hit the front of the rim.
Nonetheless he looked very happy after the game. Like the fact that he can play both guard positions. Should average 8-10 minutes a game during the season.

Grayson can play a long time in the NBA if he can shoot the 3 at a respectable clip. 40% would be excellent. But IMO his shot hasn't looked great since the 2016 season. Not sure if extra time in the weight room getting stronger messed up his stroke (this seems to be the most common reason), but his ball just doesn't go in anymore and hasn't for years.

If he stays under 35% from 3..he may not be in the NBA for long. It's really that easy.
Happy for him though and that block in the semi-final game was nasty.

I agree. If he can get north of 35% and learn how to move without the ball he could have a nice career. He's not the best pull-up shooter off the dribble, so he needs to learn how to get open. A summer with JJ would be great. Watching JJ work off the ball to get open is a thing of beauty.

I'm still rooting for Grayson. The shots will start to fall, and he will carve out a place for himself.

I love watching JJ run guys half his age off screens and hitting those quick threes! When he is on there are few who do it better.
