I don't take it to heart, final score is all that matters.
That said, I would be euphoric to see them all lose.

the ACC is the best conference this year. Big 12 is 2nd to that . SEC and Big 10 are right behind that. UL is in for a world of hurt adjusting to having to play good teams every night. I think UL loses 5-6 conference games.

Technically the Big East and the Big 12 are better conferences. I think ACC is in 3rd, although the Big 10 won their B1G v ACC challenge by a fair margin.
Big East won the most OOC, Big 12 has a ton of ranked teams in their conference, and I think the ACC went negative out of conference.

Damn right! They've never had to play a tough conference schedule in any of the weak conferences they ever played in.

The Big east is a joke. All they do is beat each other...and they claim those are all "good losses" and such.

8-7 Depaul looks to be the only undefeated team in that dominant conference after tonight as they lead 39-25 at the half at overrated Creighton.

UL goes on a 14-0 run to start the second half. Some guy on Clemson just got a rebound sitting on the floor.

The Big east is better but compared the ACC or Big 12 is a joke . Nova is the best BE team and Duke , UVA and UL maybe even would beat them by 10-15 IMO.

SO SO SO glad we didn't get him . I hate him and it has nothing to do with playin for UL . he spends more time flexing , yelling ect then anything else. It is such a joke . If i played i would be soo tempted to punch him in the face . SOOO tempted . I know its wrong but it will happen if he brings that mess into the NBA.

I flipped over to the CW (they're known for their sports I guess) in time to see Harrell get fouled on a missed layup and flex all the way to the bench.

Kansas appears very disfunctional. No effort and no toughness. Bill Self is struggling getting this bunch to buy in.

Okafor is so protected it makes me sick. He gets bailed out on contact that was the same he gave on the other end but wasn't called for. The WF guy is giving the refs the what for about it too.

You expect anything different .. Cook wasn't fouled on the previous possession but got two FTs

Win or lose, hopefully this Duke performance at Wake will shut up some of the constant "what if we face Duke" worriers who have plagued this board since November.

Man I don't complain about officials much but damn, Duke is getting all the love per usual, Okafor hooks people with his arm when he spins in the post and no call of course, also phantom call against Wilbekin on the Jones and 1

Gamecase on my phone said Tyus Jones got an And1.. Glad I didn't have to witness how awful that call must of been. He must lead the nation in drawing shooting fouls..

Baylor has killed themselves. Kansas is fortunate. Man kansas has several games this year that could have been L's. I still think they're 20-25 range and will be at seasons end.

It was bad, Wilbekin kept both hands in the air and Tyus rubber his face all over the guys chest for the and 1

Wake did decently tonight without a true rim protector and a pretty defunct offense.

Are you still thinking Duke is the team to beat as well?

Jones has gone full stupid for UL. Made clutch shots but is fouling on shots and playing crazy. Pitino is about to stroke out.

You are always right in regards to your posts Stingray. I just get confused if your referring to the Missouri Valley Conference, Metro Conference, Conference USA, Big East, AAC, or the ACC. These are all powerhouse conferences that you guys dominated for years and reigned supreme over the college BBall landscape. To you sir cheers!

Now put the beer down, hop on the Gene Snyder towards Preston, and get home safe!

THIS ^^^^^^^^ UL fans conveniently forget MVC, Metro, C USA and act like the last few years are their standard.

Prior to their arrival in the Big East, I would not consider their tour of conferences to be daunting - Metro, Missouri Valley etc.

Saul I'm not sure what you're talking about.

I've never once said I thought Duke was the team to beat. I've always thought UK was the the leader. I said Duke is clearly the second best team in the nation and our real competition, and I was right on the money. That was when they were ranked fourth and I caught lots of flack for it.

And I don't think there's anything wrong with questioning our roster vs. Dukes. Everyone in America os doing that right now.

Not sure what you mean.

I probably misinterpreted all your early season writings about Duke. It seemed like you were overly concerned with Duke as you would write about them almost weekly.

Thanks for clarifying.

The only time I would speak about Duke was in the context of how they matched up personnel wise relative to us.

Yea I've spoke about Duke a good bit this year, but weekly? Eh? Probably not.

I might have seemed a bit worried about coaxh K having the right mix this year, I'll give you that. Seniors, great freshman(the best), and guys who can shoot. He's got a great mix of everything on that team, minus a dominant power forward.

As a UK fan who really really doesn't want duke to capitalize on the "OAD" system and steal some thunder, I guess you could make a case I'm being cautiously optimistic. Don't get me wrong, I've NEVER salivated over Duke, it's more of a "please no...please no..." Type of thinng. I'd rather North Carolina win a title this year than Duke. Yes I said that.

I think their real struggle will be the type of play. The ACC is a lot of up and down play, especially unc and duke. Uofl likes to play headlock and grab, which originated in the big east and became the standard when players just fouled to maintain defensive position instead of moved their feet. Interestingly enough, I heard Scott Davenport on the radio say he expected for turdville to struggle for that reason.

KU will lose their share of conference games this season, I'm actually shocked we beat Baylor down in Waco last night.. what has gotten Kansas their 10 straight conference titles is they are damn near unbeatable at home in conference play.(knock on wood) if KU can continue to win at home they'll be tough to unseed as conference champs...we'll find out, this team is not very good but they have somehow continued to squeak by and win 10 of their first 12 games.. I still think we win the Big 12 this year once again..
