What a great sight on Saturday to see Jayson and Marques both get their first playing time on Saturday...and with Jackson and Grayson both sitting out just to get healthy, it forced some others to play well.

For one, I continue to the slobber all over the way Amile is playing. The dude is such a nice kid, such a hard worker and committed himself to returning Duke for a story book senior season. So far, he's been phenomenal.

So who knows who plays tonight? I'm going to guess Grayson and Jackson are both reinserted into the lineup and we get a chance to see them play along side Tatum and Bolden. This should be fun!

Onto the game. Defense, rebounding and turnovers are going to be a key in front of the big crowd and against a national power like Florida. They'll battle and attack the ball defensively but we're smooth in transition and can score in bunches. I actually think we win this one by double digits.

Tonight's game is slated for a 9pm est tip and will air on ESPN HD.

I think it's a close game but we win. We won't play like a team yet, we've got a lot of settling in ahead. But Duke wins a close one.

I'm looking forward to seeing what a nearly complete Duke team can do. Still a lot of rust to be knocked off by the returning injured players, plus meshing all the talent together...but tonight starts the journey toward this team becoming the special group we've always they would be. Go Duke!

I like us in this one. My alma mater beats the alma mater of 3 of my family members.

It was obvious against Maine that when Jayson was in the game, there was a timing disconnect. Like @Showenuff said, it is going to take some time for this group to gel. Marques meshes well because of his position and role, and I would be willing to bet Harry would be the same way. Jayson is a scorer that operates very well with the ball in his hands. Can he have the same production off the catch? I think so. Again it'll be about timing.

The threat Florida poses is stretching and driving which is something our team obviously struggles with. Can Duke contain that?

This is the scariest game to me based on circumstances. In August, I wasn't worried. Working two regulars back into a lineup can hurt for a game or two. It will be close tonight.

^ Yeah, I don't think anyone is really expecting him back until after exams, at the earliest.

While I think we're still adapting with the new guys in the lineup, I also think we're a really good team and will play like one tonight. Big nights for both Grayson and Luke, as well as Amile. Duke wins by 12.

I think it will be sloppy at times. Not easy to keep shuffling the deck and expect a perfect hand to be dealt. Not even sure what that means but I think it will be an under 10pt win. 82-75

Florida's only loss on the season is to a pretty good Gonzaga team in the AdvoCare Invitational. I'm predicting a close game but hoping for a blow out in favor of Duke! Duke pushes the lead out at the end with foul shooting.

Tight first half, maybe even down by a point or two at halftime, but we come back clicking on all cylinders in the second half shooting well from 3 and win easily building it to 15 points with late free throws.

Seeing as Florida hasn't played anyone outside of Gonzaga I may be overly optimistic but I think Duke wins by 15-20. 80-60 perhaps. Thinking the team gels a little better tonight and can't really see them stopping Luke, Grayson, Jayson and Amile all at once.

My (limited) sources usually have a good idea of what is happening, but it seems even by Coach K standards they are keeping Harry's status and development extremely under wraps.

The only thing my sources seem to agree on is that, like Jayson and Ques, they will try to bring him back in a low intensity environment, like the Maine game.

My best guess would be Tennessee St on the 19th or Elon on the 21st

Yeah those are the two I'm betting on with his return. He's had some contact in practice.

One thing I can pass on about HG3, and again sorry for hijacking the game thread, is that he is CHOMPING (gator pun) at the bit to get back out there. I think the rumors of him sitting out this season are complete nonsense. Not in his DNA.

That being said, I think Duke wins. I do think there will be a lot of moments where Duke frustrates us with sloppiness, but they pull away in the end.

75-63 Duke.

I'm shooting for this as well as I'm taking the family to the Elon game.

Anyone ever been to the coliseum and know of good local restaurant in the area?

Too bad we didn't get to play against Murphy. I think he is at Northeastern right now.

He is and it seems like he's doing really well there. Helped them to a couple of decent wins too. I hope he's happy, as that seemed to be a big issue for him.

Some really nice words from Floridas coach about K and the Duke program....

“It’s a great honor for any of us to compete against Duke basketball and Coach K and be on the same floor with Coach K,” said White, whose father Kevin White has been Duke’s athletic director since 2008. “That’s goes for our entire staff and our managers, but most importantly for our players. … To arguably compete against the best program in the country, arguably the best coach in all of sport, it’s a really unique opportunity that all of us are excited about.”

Only part I disagree with is the "arguably" part but I'll let it slide this one time. ;)
