There really isn't much to say. Until this Duke team can get consistency from Moore and Johnson, until it learns what a good shot is and a good shot isn't, and maybe most importantly, until it cuts down drastically on turnvoers, wins are going to be at a premium.

I'm done with the hyperbole. Someone has to step up for this team, and somehow they've got to get back in the win column. I simply refuse to give up on this Duke team - or any Duke team for that matter.

Today's game is slated for a 4pm est tip and will air on ESPN. Duke is favored by three at time of this thread - and even though I refuse to give up on this team, I'd have a hard time taking Duke in this game. So, read into that what you'd like, but I won't pick Duke to lose.

NC State - 76

State gives us trouble in Raleigh (sometimes rips us a new one) often times when we're THE REAL DUKE! I wish I could take us, and somehow I do see us having a chance at the end. However I fear we'll figure out another way to lose.

Color me shocked to Duke is favored considering they’re two and 13 against the spread this year one can only hope regular great team effort and take care of the basketball for 40 minutes....go Duke!!!!

Really unsure what to think at this point. We have been close, we just haven't been finishing games. Does that continue or do we get over the hump? A win can change perception quickly; and we need that. But we have struggled at NC State. Does the no crowd help us? We're getting experience that will pay off next year. Williams and Coleman emerging is encouraging, and the backcourt is being thrown into the fire this year.

Could Duke be in for another high scoring contest in this one? Both teams have struggled tremendously on defense. Have to get the W on Coach K's birthday!

We are up 25-12. The excitement for this one is electrifying in here. Helloooo? 31-13. Hurt with 11. Williams playing well, Brakefield with 3, Johnson with one point and zero boards. Brakefield playing more than Johnson. 33-17 now.

The elephant in the room is we seem to play better when Johnson is not in. Wow up 20. This team has potential when clicking. This and the Clemson game we have looked very good. 18 point lead at the half. This would be a nice win if we hold on. 8 guys have scored. pretty much everyone but Baker and Coleman.

Williams is playing well....not a fan of calls where the offensive player jumps in to a defender

Only gripe about today and Williams played great....but he can kick it back out after getting a post feed sometimes

A win is a win....back to .500...Williams was great, Brakefield needs to practice layups! Feel for him with the numerous bunnies he missed! :)

My only knock is why hasn’t Williams been playing since the first game of the season?

He’s coming on strong and helping the teams. Second half , this young team kinda fell back into old habits with turnovers and not stopping the role to the baskets.

Good win. On to the next.

Let’s not be revisionist historians here. He’s improved, and earned the minutes. He’s much much better than he was at the start of the year.

I know, I know, we don’t develop players.

Looked very good today! We’ve been right there ALL year- lets string a few together and make it interesting! I would sooooo love to sneak into this tourney and watch the higher seeds squirm!!
