Great to be back home against a much improved Pitt squad that’s lead by Jeff Capel. Hopefully having a bye weekend this past helps us get refreshed and refocused because Coach Capel will have his team ready for battle and tenacious defensively.

Duke gets a quick start of the gates and I think we win this double digits. That said, if the Panthers can absorb the initial wow factor that just playing in Cameron gives everyone, this will be a grind it out battle.

Duke enters favored by -17.5, which I think is astronomically high. I think it’s closer than that and I think we’ll beat Pitt, by in a dogfight. I just have a hunch Pitt is going to “muck it up” and keep the score close.

Tonight’s game is slated for a 9pm est tip and will air on ESPN.

Which I don’t get. Games during the week have always been either at 7:00 or 9:00. Every now and then you have an 8:00, 6:30, or 9:30 tip time, but not very often.

Also although we haven't made note of it former ACC commissioner and Duke alumus Gene Corrigan passed this week. With the sudden death of Kobe it's been overlooked I think Duke may have a tribute to him also maybe at halftime. OFC
