Hey guys, so I am actually traveling to Fuquay-Varina, NC February 10-12 for work. I am looking to extend the trip till Sunday the 14th because Duke has a home game against Virginia on Saturday. What would be the best way about getting tickets? Where should I try and sit? I have never been to a home game, I have gone to Notre Dame to see Duke play, saw them last year in Indy in the champions classic and witnessed the national championship game which was awesome but this would be unbelievable. Definitely on the bucket list to see a home game.

Thanks

Buy tickets outside, bring a lot of cash. There isn't really a bad seat in the place with it being so small.

So tickets on Stubhub and other 3rd party sites are decreasing currently. You guys think it's better to pull the trigger now for this game or wait till I get to Durham and scalp? I've never been down there during a game so not sure how scalping is and how many tickets will be available. Cheapest tickets on stubhub now are about $400.

Wait, they won't be more than $200 outside CIS.

I would kind of agree with Laettner that you wait. You should be able to find something in the $200-$250 range.

Now, that changes some if you're making a special trip to Durham or the area just for the game. I'm flying in on the 11th and already have tickets in hand. Coming from Minneapolis I don't like to take the chance....more of a comfort thing for me.

DJ, I am kind of in the same boat. I am coming from Chicago for work from the 10-12th and I extended my trip (on my dime) for the weekend to see this game cause it is my best chance to see a home Duke game.

I guess you just have to do what you're comfortable with then. That said, I'm pretty certain you'll find tickets outside Cameron at a cheaper price than StubHub.
