Dukes student government denies recognition of Anti Israel group on campus, the administration had to step in to allow them in so they will keep getting donations. Looks like Jews are not welcome but their money is.

How would denying recognition of an “Anti-Israel” group make Duke anti-Israel? That sentence totally contradicts your thread premise.

Did you perhaps mean to say “pro-Israel” group?

I think the 2nd half of the sentence was what he was basing that off. Very poorly written.

I totally understood what he said. The students voted against the anti group. They were overruled by the administration. So the anti group was let on campus.
That’s what I got out of it. The last sentence is what doesn’t make sense. It would seem they would want pro-Palestine money not Jewish money.

I knew the OP was wrong because most college students nowadays, especially at "elite" colleges, are indoctrinated, leftist, anti-semitic pieces of dog excrement.

Just because one says F Israel doesn’t make them antisemitic. Hating the state of Israel does not equate to hating all Jewish people.

I say F Israel AND Palestine with double birds for the whole region.

There’s a huge difference between being anti-Semitic and opposing Israel’s treatment of its Palestinian population (which is the reason college lefties stage these protests).

Indeed, many Jewish people themselves oppose Israeli policy on that issue. Do you think that makes them anti-Semitic?

You sound indoctrinated. Extremely indoctrinated. Like your typical college student rube.

I bet you opposed funding the iron dome as well, because Hamas has every right to kill Israelis for infringing on their imaginary state (that has never and will never exist).

I’m curious when you last attended an elite college, and how you know this.

I was wondering this myself, I noticed one of those leftist, elitist schools whose student bodies are all anti semitic human piles of excrement, i.e., University of Michigan, still found time and energy to get together for a little college football game last Saturday at the Big House. They sure "woke" up Ohio State!

If you bother to read the article:

- there is a Duke student pro-Israel organization
- the Duke administration supports the pro-Israel organization
- the Duke student government supports the pro-Israel organization

And the only person in the whole story on the whole campus mentioned in the article that does NOT support the pro-Israel group is the student government president, who sounds like an wuss, and an anonymous person who sent one tweet.

Someone should change the title of this thread to “One or Two College Students Do Not Approve of Pro Israel Group.”

As a big supporter of Israel, it’s heartwarming to see a student organization at Duke that supports the cause, in addition to the student government AND the university administration.

Duke is a PRO Israel school, per that article, which is awesome.
