I live about as far north as you can go in Michigan. Canada is 60 miles away across the lake.

A couple of weeks ago I was going to town and noticed a truck behind me with a UK license plate. I slowed down to let him pass because I wanted to be sure it was a UK plate. Sure enough, it was, I gave him a thumbs up and said "Kentucky" and he grinned and waved.

We're everywhere.

Do any trout fishing up there? I haven’t been to that area in years but sure do love it.

Yeah, I love fishing for brook trout, and lake trout when I can get out on the lake or when they come close to shore. Also salmon from shore. I eat a lot of fish.

It's nice country for sure. Let me know if you make it back up this way.
