Brohm's decision wasnt that hard I'd say. Why woukd anyone want to go coach in our side of the conference when 99 times out of 100 you're getting beat by Clemson and oh yea you have FSU that coukd get back to their old ways. Not worth it when he is in his side of a conference with just 1 team that has any history and it's not recent like Clemson and FSU. Think about it like this, in our state every high school volleyball team is playing for 2nd outside of a few private schools in Louisville and NKY. No public school has ever made the finals I believe. So why would any coach want to coach in lets say Paducah thinking they have a real shot at a state championship? This is the same thinking Brohm applied. Thays why we will have to find an up and comer.

Uh, for pay plus the challenge of trying to knock off Goliath. Brohm obviously wasn't up tp the challenge.

He chose the path of least resistance while using UofL to feed his greed. Character reveal, to say the least.

Butthurt rationalizations...

Brohm did what any good businessman should do--negotiate for the best offer he could get. In reality, he owed neither Purdue nor U of L anything much as neither of those schools owe HIM anything. Coaches are hired guns, and this is/was going to be a business relationship. Fans forget that fact.

You're where you are today more because of your AD than because of Brohm. The AD was supposed to be representing our interests...

No Zipp. Wrong again. We are where we are today, because of YOUR AD. By the way, I think we are fine. Missing out on Brohm at Sabanesque salary is just fine by me.

Of course Jurichs lackey is going to blame Tyra.

Tyra got Mack, locked up Walz and McDonnell, yet he focuses on Mr not ready for the challenge.

Had Brohm accepted he would hav bashed him for the 5+ million salary.

He is a University of Jurich fan, not University of Louisville.........

Why are some conveniently omitting why the situation is different. Everyone gets how the game is normally played. This was far from normal.

My AD left with $30 million of cash in the bank, millions more in liquid investments, and donors on speed dial. Jurich didn't need to worry about whether he was paying Brohm an extra million.

Your AD is managing our finances in the opposite direction and making decisions which support that. He doesn't know how to raise money or increase the fanbase, so he has to go small. He's a small thinker...

From "Done Deal", I'm OK with that perspective...

Your AD should be in prison with Ramsey.

Done deal was that weasel petrino was fired before the season was over.

He tarnished UofL and you celebrate rhat more than cayuts fans.

That done deal was worth it............
