SMU going down would be hilarious. It's an interesting game rooting for the good teams on our side of the bracket for numbers reasons while rooting for bad teams on the other side of the bracket because any team we beat from over on that side gets us an auto-bid.

I'm afraid ECU is going to shoot themselves out of this game, but when you've made 12 3-pointers in 26 minutes, I guess you keep shooting them.

The Pirates are getting some incredible open looks, for whatever reason SMU guards are unable to switch and recover in-time to contest the shots.

Teams who can't compete inside shoot a lot of 3s. ECU, Houston, and USF shoot a ton of 3s b/c of this.

Teams that played yesterday and won have some real momentum. You can ask Nolan about the Mabee Center against Houston. Byes are dangerous.

ECU made SMU work. At least the Ponies weren't playing Skip and Chip and the other walk-ons after the four minute timeout.

Hopefully, we will polish off Houston and have some energy left for the next game. We do get more from our bench than lot's of teams.
