This isn't the time of the year when coaches are traditionally hired. Baker did a search but probably wasn't sold on what is available. This gives him time to do a more thorough search. Ohio State did this after Tressel was canned they appointed an interim. No point in marrying yourself to an underwhelming coach for a couple of years and have to clean up the mess further down the road. Just bite the bullet now a find someone you like after next season.Under...whelming is an understatement.
You mean they have time to listen to higher bids. Which proves my point there is no team only a group of I's.They have time to figure it out! Still 22 days to decide!
Spot on.You mean they have time to listen to higher bids. Which proves my point there is no team only a group of I's.
Well he was a better choice than the homeless libtard that sleeps at the Lair.Yeah, Baker should have hired John Wooden or Jim Valvano
Damn, is everything political to you? Must be the small penis.Well he was a better choice than the homeless libtard that sleeps at the Lair.
Now that would be funny. Can he hire Huggins as assistant head coach?
Jim Harrick is still alive. Maybe he would come home.Yeah, Baker should have hired John Wooden or Jim Valvano
I think by just mentioning his name, the NCAA will now put WVU on probation.Jim Harrick is still alive. Maybe he would come home.
Like your posting history....who did you want small penis?Underwhelming.
You would be right to fear that. These kids came to play for Huggins. They are going to walk all over Eilert. This dude doesnt even know how to be a head coach and is in over his head lol. But it is what it is. Grab the popcorn and be prepared for some rocky times on the court over the next few years.I wish Eilert well and hope he can pull this off but there are a lot of questions. Will an interim coach be able to recruit? Can he handle a group of guys who all think they’re stars? Why would these players stay if they came here to be under a hall of fame coach and now will have a coach with a total of zero wins during his career?
My main fear is that this group of self-absorbed players, who have already been empowered by administration to influence the hire, will wind up running the show especially with the entire lack of head coaching experience now present. Eilert’s main job might have to be trying to avoid total chaos. I hope he’s up to it. Good luck Josh.
