As I was talking to a sports writer from Dave Campbell, he mentioned to me that Emmett Jones is the lead candidate for the UTEP head job. Would hate for that to happen.

I honestly think that being an assistant at OU is better than being the head coach at UTEP.

But I'd expect he'll be a head coach pretty soon. The guy can recruit.
