Truck was the champion of that. Head down and dribble, but his flaws were outweighed by his attributes, as are McBrides.
Anyone with a modicum of intelligence realizes that Deuce has been a major contributor to this team's success. He is the main reason that we won 2 to 4 games so far this season. He's done it by putting the game on his shoulders and carrying us to victory. Deuce is becoming the leader, aka Carter & Miles, that any team needs and would love to have. He was not the reason for our 3 losses. He's a freshman and is improving greatly as the season progresses. The one bashing him has his own agenda and should be ashamed of even indicating that he is a mountaineer fan. Why he would continue his hateful tirade unmercifully against a young basketball player is an indication of his own troublesome issues. Imho, this type of continued rhetoric has no place on this board.
Every player on Huggins Heroes has the SAME role: Do what they do that can best help the team win. Listen to Huggins. You aren't within ONE victory of catching the legendary Adolph Rupp without being a great coach, a Hall of Fame coach (that honor will happen eventually). This is a team that pulls for each other, even when mistakes are made. And their embracing of Spencer Macke, who has made one field goal this season, is proof of their one for all and all for one attitude. Anyone who knocks this team, or any player on it, has a defective attitude problem. It's on them, not anyone on the WVU bench! Knock it off or go root for Pitt. You deserve each other!

Lmao, you don't want to hear TRUTH about a player, don't attack people for pointing out his play rightfully and say he wins games all by himself and other dumb **** like best player on team and best shooter and other nonsense. Dont want to hear about how SELFISH and one handed and poor defensively he is, dont call out peope by name once a month and a half when he makes 2 shots not in garbage time. And you ignore when people point out he shoots above 50% not in garbage time. He won the UNI game when the rest of the team was playing like the KSU debacle. His shooting is what put away Ohio State. More than once Duece has cut through the defense with his left for a drive. More than once he has rotated to provide help down low on defense and even scrapped for rebounds. You are the one that ignores the truth. You say literally the SAME things about him game in and game out while completely ignoring anything that does not fit your established perception of him. It's not that we don't want to hear the truth. It's we don't want to hear your opinions stated as fact despite evidence to the contrary. You are the one who wants to ignore the facts about the player. The major 2 are that no guard on this team has consistently outplayed McBride over 18 games and McBride has not been the primary reason for any one of WVU's 3 loses as there has not been a game yet where the rest of the team and guards have been playing well, but McBride's mistakes led to the loss.
