ER VS RANDLEMAN HIGHLIGHTS

Who is Randleman? It that Roundabout?
If you notice the video was shot from a Roundabout High perspective. Think it only shows ER scoring once. Y’all are forgetting that, so far, Eastern Randolph has not played a 1A team. Only 3As and PAC7 is a 2A conference due to Charter not having football…yet.
Also as I have mentioned many times, the PAC7 is located within Randolph County. Every game is a rivalry contest. Makes for not much travel, great gates and close games usually.
I think ER is probably better due to having a better run game. I attended the West Stokes vs Randleman game second week of the season and they depend on the QB scrambling around until #1 and other receivers get open. If he has time they will hurt you. ER has beat them last 2 years because they have athletes to matchup. #4 and #8 look like strong runners for ER. The reason Randleman missed extra point ER probably shot the cannon off during the play.

Both teams looked pretty darn good to me. Game could have gone either way.

What someone might have mentioned through that grapevine thing is that Roundabout may, emphasis on may, have a few things going on behind the scenes…
Now again that’s just a rumor…
Randleman is well coached, has a big O/D line, good RB, QB and two tall WR's that can get behind you. Do not know why or how they lost to Trinity, but things happen in high school sports. I do believe them to go a few rounds into the playoffs in 2A. ER is still good, has been good and like most years will make a run into the deeper rounds. They have proven to be a quality program and as mentioned previously have not played any 1A teams on their schedule. Four straight conference crowns is pretty dang awesome and not something many teams can claim.
How do you feel though moving forward? Obviously the Randleman loss to Trinity was a huge surprise? Do you feel good only beating Randleman by one point? I heard Trinity is absolutely terrible..
Truthfully? I don’t feel one way or the other. Baby boy graduated in 2018. My nephew in 2021. I don’t follow the sport like I did then. Anytime they beat Roundabout High, whether by one or a hundred, it’s a good day. The loss to Trinity doesn’t lessen them much in anyone’s eyes except for 1A posters. They still the #4 in RPI in 2A West, directly behind a team they beat earlier in the season.
I have no earthly idea how Trinity beat the Roundabouts. I would have better luck explaining Bigfoot or the Bermuda Triangle.
Like Chaminade beating Virginia in 1983, the Kardashians becoming famous, or Biden winning the 2020 election........this SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED.
