Transfer portal wasn’t a factor, they were both freshmen. Harper followed in his brother’s footsteps and also went to Rutgers.

Though this was a good lesson to those that always preach that it’s so easy to turn things around in basketball since “you only need 1 or 2 really good players”. Two top 5 picks (well, depending on what the hell is happening with Bailey) and they went 15-17 and were worse than us.
