For those outside of Louisville, you may not know this guy but for those inside, you definitely do.
He used to be on sports radio in Lexington back in the day. He was the good one on that station, if you can imagine.
Chris Cross was so bad it was almost worth listening to occasionally just to guffaw at how a show so utterly terrible was on the air.
Pounding women at restaurants seems to be a pretty popular past time at U6.
Chris was a walking billboard - 90% of his shows he either had a commercial or advertisement of some product or restaurant “I went to the catch and they had the best……” rambles for 2 minutes then cuts to commercial
I do miss his ads for Steeplton Billiards and Spas and him singing the phone numbers. I mean not really but it was always a fun joke at work. Haven't heard him in over a decade however. Whatever happened to him?
He was also a sportscaster for WKYT. Never met him but he always seemed smug on TV.
In college I had an office running job where they basically paid me to listen to Sports Radio for four hours a day as I took stuff around Lexington and Frankfort. @Wesley91581 - you are giving me PTSD for when Dan Patrick / Tony Kornheiser went off the air and I had to listen to Cross and Cutler and then Cross and Deener. Just awful non-stop commercials from Cross. STFU!!!!! Ha.
