ESPN halftime report focused on "Northwesterning" (a la "Clemsoning" in football). Both Jay Williams and Seth Grenberg feel right now NU is in. And Greenberg said even without another win, the Cats are IN because they have no bad losses.

During the IU-PU game, Dakich (who is no NU shill, and who I came come to dislike as an analyst) said NU was in without any more wins.

So for Felis, there are several people who think NU can lose 7 o 9 and still make the dance.....

Cats win a close one tomorrow.

Going to be tough, since Michigan is finally playing better on the road than they were earlier in the BIG season, when they were just terrible on the road. Would have preferred to play them back then. We absolutely need to improve on offense from all of our efforts since Wisky to win this one; hopefully Scottie will continue his improvement from the Indiana game, as that will be critical.

It will be a very nervous time for the next week and a half it we don't win tonight or Sunday. Need possible bid thieves to lose like Vandy did, blowing a big lead at Kentucky last night.

I hate to say it, but Illinois beating Michigan State tonight is probably better than the other way around, as MSU is right around in our neighborhood, and I still think Illinois has an uphill climb. That said, I'll still be probably rooting for the Spartans because...come on.
