This is the equivalent of Nickelodeon doing the national day of play - they stop showing cartoons so obese kids will move from in front of the TV.

The nerds get one day a year and that's too much for you? I'm fine with it. I'd rather watch the spelling bee than women's <insert sport>.

As for the talk shows, they need programming and what's cheaper than trotting out some momos they already have on payroll?
