Recency bias. We beat UNC a long time ago. And NCAA Bracket Pools are full of casual fans who've only seen the last couple weeks if any of the season and seen UNC playing great.
People don’t like Kentucky outside of Kentucky. People don’t care about UNC cheating outside of Kentucky.

Seriously, I live in NJ and everyone in this state is either a Duke or UNC fan and every single one of them will tell you what a cheater John Calipari is like it’s still 10 years ago.

Most of social media too. Every other Calipari post is about him writing a big check to a recruit and no comments about UK losing elite players to Dook, KU and Zona, or the UNCheat scandal.
I’m from NJ. Live in the DC area now but this post is accurate, at least in my experience. I didn’t realize I had Cal wrong until only a few years ago.
What's your point on this board? From reading your recent posts seems like you exist to take pot shots at Kentucky fans and/or Calipari in any way possible. Just wondering why you even want to be a fan of Kentucky in this case.

Somewhat disagree, 80 percent of brackets are filled out by people who only watch the NCAAT. They make their picks from the talking heads who have a clear ACC bias. I think these fans could care less about UK or any other program, they only do a bracket because everyone else is
Was this about the time that you saw Worldwide Wes sitting in the Duke stands and Duke started using our exact recruiting strategy of reeling in one and dones and K was beating Cal at it?

Same here in Chicago. It’s been nothing but Duke all season. Recently a bit of UNC mixed in, but absolutely nothing about UK.
It's not like they have a great program to root for up there (choices are mostly Syracuse, Seton Hall, or St John's). So it figures they would likely have a bunch of fair weather fans that root for them thanks to the hype generated by the East Coast media.
