Not a bad start for the guy who replaced Steve Lineweaver.

I believe the Spartans from California were nationally ranked number one. Opening games are funny, but that was a great win for a program that has been great for three decades.

Those Euless guys must be good. De La Salle will scorch earth every team in N. Cal and only issue is if a great SCal team will be their match in state finals in Dec. De La Salle typically opens with national powers (Jersey, Lousiana, Washington, Nev.) and have lost a few. But too good for virtually all other Cali teams.
