Watched it awhile back when it first came out. I had been enamored with the story since when I first heard it on a true crime podcast.
One of those stories with multiple levels and really no clear path to point to definitive answers. Has all the parts of one of those incredibly interesting true crime stories. There are only a handful of these a year.
Funny thing is tho—when they are solved definitively, they lose their luster. It’s weird bc you wouldn’t think so, but they do. Case in point for me, Golden State Killer. I had really been intrigued by that case for awhile—read all of the books, listened to all the podcasts, etc. Then when it was solved, after that intial rush to see who it was, intrigue is gone. Even the message boards dedicated to GSK/EAR saw a dramatic drop after the arrest of the POS.
