Too young to not be a tragedy. I remember he was on the Minny team which is remembered by Penn Staters most for the MRob hit.
He was drafted in 05 but I'm almost positive he was on that Minny team.

He isn’t listed in the box score for the 2005 game. If he was drafted in ‘05, the ‘04 season would have been his last at MINNY.

Ugh, that’s one I’d really like to forget. The onside kick to start the game really set the tone (and looking at our receiving stats, it’s obvious why the offense had issues).Barber did play in the ‘04 game versus PSU.

That was a fun few weeks…the comeback win at Northwestern, crushing Minnesota, then a legendary Ohio St game.But ‘05 was an A$$. BEATING.
