Always nice to see someone persevere and beat the odds. Especially when they have some humility too.
In case it isn't obvious to all before you click, this isn't just a story ABOUT Woodhead, it's a story BY Woodhead.
Great read. I remember talking to guys in college who played against him in HS and they said basically forget it if you were 1-on-1 with him. Said nobody had ever seen anything like the way he dominated out there.
What a great story. Its amazing the last 15 years how many good in state players the huskers have missed out on.
I've never seen any player like him when he was at Chadron State. Mind-boggling lateral movement, impossible to tackle.
