6 pm cannot come soon enough!!!! It is a foreign feeling to be anticipating a Wildcat basketball game with such fervor! I have not felt this in a while. Somebody kick me to let me know I am not dreaming!

Bring it on! Go Cats! Stack up another conference win! Build that tournament resume!

Hopefully Verhoeven regroups mentally and brings something to the floor today.
Nebraska's Derrick Walker is a full grown man who started college in 2017. 6'9" 245 lbs. A load. My kind of player, other than his age.

Wilhelm Breidenbach is a bearded, goggle-wearing big man who will find himself out-wolfed by the Nicholbomb.
Hopefully our Wolfman will have an opportunity to dunk over their Teen Wolf and let out a big howl as he runs up the court.

Their PG Griesel is like a more aggressive Mulcahey, and Walker averages 3.7 assists/game, so we'll need to be careful when doubling him down low. Fortunately they do not have many good shooters left, Tominaga is the only guy shooting above 33% in conference from 3. Need to win this one.

You are just setting us all up for heartbreak. I refuse to have expectations. I plan to retreat into my protective bubble with two blankets pulled over my head and then occasionally peak at the score with my hands safely covering my eyes.

(Actually, that's not really true. I'm actually going to be doing an online mentoring session tonight for Northwestern students! It is a great program that the Biomedical Engineering group there started to have alums talk to current undergrads about careers. I've done it a few times and it's really fun!!)

Man - I wish I was going! I am also excited for the game tonight. Hope the weather doesn’t screw up the Cats pregame routine w travel delays.
