Excitement surrounding WVU hoops program

absolutely. began 09-10 campaign at No. 8 AP.
that coming off a 1st rd upset at the hands of Dayton a season prior. but WV had beaten No. 2 Pitt towards the end of that same season & turned in an overall solid year.
I'm very optimistic & excited for this coming season. but it is a bit ironic that we lose both Staten - leading scorer of last 2 years - and Browne, and yet still there's the feeling this group will do damage & leave its mark.
to me the optimisim surrounds Williams, the system, chemistry, experience and the notion that the team has that collective sum is greater than the parts.
