They "wave3" showed a picture of the US, out west was a bunch of symbols for Lows and what not. It looked kinda crazy.

Looks like extreme weather is about to happen in KY again and this time central and Western Ky is gonna have its turn. These events are a yearly occurrence now and being prepared for extreme weather and tornados is becoming a must for us here in the Bluegrass.
This time?

We've been getting pounded with rain like crazy. WKY got flooded in Feb. We've gotten wind damage the last couple of times as well.

This is the third severe for us over here in the past like 10 days. We're tired over here.

The Storm Prediction Center has upgraded far western KY to a high risk for today. They are calling for a tornado outbreak with the potential for multiple EF3+ type tornadoes. There's a fairly sizable moderate risk surrounding the high risk area, which includes Louisville. Even Lexington is in an enhanced risk and a strong tornado isn't out of the question. Wednesday afternoon, evening and the overnight are shaping up to be pretty nasty anywhere west of I-75 and particularly west of I-65. Places like Paducah and Mayfield are in the bullseye for the worst of the outbreak.

If we don't start going to final fours and winning championships. Then others will catchup and playing field will be leveled. Is this a basketball forum or a dopler radar?

I'm sick of this bad weather. 3 straight weekends in TN we had it and now 3 days later.

I'm east of Nashville so not in the hottest zone but everyone be safe that is.

I'm to the point where I'm just gonna go to sleep in the closet under my stairs tonight and hope for best lol. I hate the anxiety and staying up all night waiting on these storms. I have a 6 year old and wife so I can't just go to sleep under stairs but if I was single I would.

Only storm that coming tonight is the damn cardinal sins kicked our *** in the portal. We must calm this quick or we are leveled.
🤣Do you just come here to complain? Every post I see you make is complaining about Pope. This is a post about weather and you turned it into complaining about recruiting. Either you are Calipari, a Cal family member, a Cal staffer or just a miserable person. Either way I wish you would go to the Arkansas board and stay away from this one.

What's your point with this post? Seems like there is some ulterior motive. You didn't ask any questions, didn't offer any well-wishes, no inquiry about weather or what other people are seeing, etc. What's your purpose? Yes, we're about to get hit with a storm. Bad weather and storms have been happening forever. Is something different?

Paducah had it's second largest day for rainfall ever as Hurrican Helene petered out over western Kentucky last Fall. That was about 5-6" in one day. They are predicting maybe 15" over the next four days. Something is, by definition, different. Rainfall amounts like this have never been recorded in Paducah. We've had cows farting forever, industrial pollution only started about 100-125 years ago. Coincidence?

Since it hasn't been removed yet, you can see the areas near you that will get flooded if the predictions come true, at the link below by typing in your home address. Keep in mind that some of the predicted rainfall amounts are greater than the 1% annual exceedance probabilty (100-year) storm on which the regulatory floodplain is based. So areas outside the mapped area will be flooded. If you are close to the edge of the floodplain, but way up a hill, you are likely safe, if you can get out for supplies when needed. Develop an emergency action plan with your family now, if necessary.

Good point. How much rain is Paducah supposed to average since the beginning of time? And how long have we as a people been able to accurately record rain accumulation? And before that, how do we know what average amounts of rains were supposed to be? Come to think of it, what causes plate tectonics? Did pollution cause Pangea to separate? Thanks in advance

You can't bring facts or logic to counter an opinion that is based on neither :)
