Boo kept us in the game single-handedly. And Chase struggled for most of the day. But then he stepped and just took over. Defense wins championships. And our defense won it for us tonight. NU just showed how to defend Purdue. Double the post. Can't defend their center one on one. Purdue is a Boo Buie short of being a Final Four team and is too reliant on one player to win 6 tournament games in a row and I root for all Big Teams OOC. Yup. There were four straight possessions where Edey got deep post position, not on a block, but right inside the B1G logo. Each time it was a quick turn and bucket or free throws.
