Wondering? How many are fans of F1? Huge fan of Red Bull, and the Dutchman, as well as McLaren Racing. I go back to the old days of F1, and later, including Aryton Senna's, McLaren Hondas. Actually got to drive his McLaren Honda at Firebird out in Arizona years ago. Nice to see the competition.

Don’t follow but love the vibe. Monte Carlo a bucket list event for me.

Awesome! Unbelievable area, my least favorite F1 course. It's nearly impossible to pass on. My pops spent some time there in 46 after the war. Yes, he definitely had a very good time. However, he had a far better time on the French Riviera. Lol

We have a bunch of friends who are into it and one item at our school auction (donated by the UAE Ambassador) is a VIP week (first class airfare, 5* accommodations, VIP parties, etc.) and tickets to the F1 race in Dubai. Some of my friends are big F1 fans and have bid on it and gone. Supposed to be amazing. But, I don’t have $90,000 to bid on it until after kids are out of school. Unless you want to go halfsies on it….🤣.

I love all forms of car racing. Crazy race F1 this morning. I grew up with it and working on pit crews. My family (uncle and cousin) have raced for Carroll Shelby and Ford Cobra's partnering with Ken Miles. Also raced Nascar, Indy Cars (finished 4th at Indy 500) and IMSA/Endurace Racing winning the Le Mans 3 times racing for the Porsche factory in the 956/962,

I want to like it but it seems the races are won in qualifying. I love the technology that goes into each car and the pure performance. I also love the race sites throughout the world. Very cool to see the fans from each race/country. But the races are often boring to me. Monaco is perfect example. Beautiful scenery but probably the worst race.

Yeah, I'm not a big vehicle racing guy ... grew up around Indy racing folks (that drove, that were fans, etc.) and it just never did it for me ... I'd watch casually, but that's it. Never got into NASCAR at all. I tried F1 a few times, and, at first, it looks cool ... fast cars zooming in and out and around ... much more engaging than the oval tracks that are the basis for Indy and NASCAR ... and then you realize, not much is happening, competitively. Almost impossible to pass.

I know they won't change it for a know-nothing shmuck like me, but I don't understand why they couldn't just make more dedicated tracks that are wider and allow for more opportunity to pass ... bank the turns ... there's money all over the place in that sport, for some reason, so I don't know why they couldn't fund that ...

When I was younger I was into Indy car racing, attended the 500 twice and some of the shorter races around the midwest regularly. Then in the 1960s got interested in F1 ... especially the McLarens. Follow the F1 now ... but agree that on some of the tracks, its the qualifying that mostly determines the winner and placement on Sunday.

Today's race in Spielberg, Austria seemed to offer some passing opportunities, but the 2 leading McLarens simply ran away from the rest of the field. Wonder what it would have been like if Verstappen hadn't crashed out on the first lap, would he have been able to offer any kind of challenge?

F1 is pretty much the only 4-wheel racing that I find watchable, but only barely.

To me, the Isle of Man TT is the world's greatest race, and rider skill (and balls) is really what determines the winner.

Not a Red Bull Fan - don’t like Horner or Verstappen - do lome McLaren and Piastri

Enjoy it. Have been to NASCAR, Indy, other turns of racing. Have not been to F1. Keep hoping to go to Montreal GP because it's only a 6-7 hour drive, but always have something pop up in my schedule.

Monaco is also a bucket list item but agree with those that say it's not a great track for passing.

Would consider Saudi Italy Great Britain or Spain.

Seriously, screw going to Montreal for F1. Go to Silverstone or Red Bull Ring. Since you are a car guy, you probably would appreciate the history of Silverstone and the museum there.

I’m doing it for the drive. Friday north on race weekend thru NY turns into a wild cruise with some heavy equipment.
