That's the hoss LS needs in the backfield to take some heat off him with a running threat.
If the OL does its job this could be a really good thing!

''The Gamecocks needed him at running back after the loss of Rocket Sanders. He instantly becomes the best running back on the South Carolina roster after he had 1,109 yards on the ground with eight rushing touchdowns on 198 carries. He is a massive key player in this offense.

South Carolina will open this upcoming season with Virginia Tech on Aug. 31.''

Are we expecting him to be RB1?

Had great #s at Utah State but not sure how that transfers to SEC. Haven't seen his tape.

As it pertains to the RB position, is Adaway not as good as hoped? Some on here were extremely high on him last year, but I'm guessing since the coaches went out to get a starter, they see Adaway as a backup.

His tape looks good. He has big play ability-more so than our other backs it appears. I think he faced some soft defenses at times in his previous conference but still put up some solid numbers. I'd imagine he will start but Adaway will get plenty of carries too early on. And the other backs will rotate as well like Augustave and also Fuller.

Adaway right now is in direct competition for RB1. He may even start. But Faison is talented and has great agility and vision. Quick, can change direction well, and is patient wating for blockers to get where he needs them.

Agree. I could see Adaway starting too. There will be a lot of rotation. Whoever moves the ball better will get more carries obviously.
