I get tired of it honestly. Everybody always looking at my build and my features. I don’t want to draw anymore attention to myself. I take a fold out chair and sit down so I can just blend in the height of the crowd.
I’ll trade you, I’m sick of never being able to see in any crowds. Being short sucks.

Anyone able to attend will have to share what it’s like. I figured it would be insane

It’s a lot. Massive crowd. When they announced the entire team would be signing for an hour that pretty much seals the deal I’d be dealing with the headache side of this Fanbase. But I’m a lifetime collector and not turning down the team all together. Too many complete pieces.

With all the recruits on campus this weekend, can they mingle around Fan Fest and really get to see and feel the passion we have about our players and the program. Fan Feast sounds like it is more informative than anything we get out of watching Big Blue Madness.

fantastic idea, absolutely no follow through, horribly put together, and even worse planned. They allowed massive groups of people to stand around for 5+ hours without being notified they wouldn’t be able to meet the team and get signatures. I felt bad for a lot of those kids. It was obvious there was no way that line Was going to even make it 15% of the way through and they let those people stand there 5+ hours just to be told no. Never once informed them it wouldn’t make it to them. Some people were there even longer waiting with kids.

absolutely pitiful execution for UK. The people who put these things together are just an embarrassment. Always have been.

Good idea but they must stop trying to squeeze a 3 day event into 3 hours. They have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports and never seem to understand you cannot have people driving from 3 hours out to sit for 5 hours and nothing happens.

Nice idea added some good pieces but there’s no excuse in that especially with those kids standing around. Out of probably 15 rows in a snake line only 3 made it through from what I could see.

So I had a good time, didn’t stay for autographs though, I didn’t want to wait in line.

I talked to Mark, Tubby, Cam, Twanny, Khalil, Jack Pilgrim. But the most enjoyable conversation I had was with Marks wife and daughters. They are amazing. I was standing there watching Mark wade through fans, all clamoring for his signature, guy could barely move. She was standing next to me watching him walk away, smiling. I asked Lee Anne what it was like watching and seeing that everywhere they go. She said it was wild and enjoyable and the girls were talking about how amazing it is and how nice everyone is. It was a really cool chat. His family is awesome.

I hate to hear that. They said on the Sources Say Podcast that was live that they were using this year as kind of a trial and error. What worked well and what didn’t. Hopefully they can correct it in the future

I’m 6’3 depending on the day. My wife is short. I’m so tired of moreless getting on my hands and knees to get anything in the kitchen because it seems everything I need is in the bottom of the cabinet.
That’s the only benefit but anymore my knees and back hurt so bad I don’t wanna get down there either.

That’s sad and true, how can they not figure out that the time needed for this type thing is gonna be a lot longer than one day event for an hour.

They should know how these events are and what to do by now, Mitch Barnhart should know this, but we have a terrible athletics leader so it’s no surprise.
