They went historic too. I thought it was Boardwalk Empire for a minute when I saw the trailer.

Never seen this series. Seen the original movie and loved it.. when I saw the series advertisement, I got confused. Can anyone explain—-without spoiling—-what’s going on here?

It's an anthology series. Each season tells a different, odd, self-contained story about crime and the seasons aren't directly connected to each other or the 1996 movie.

Thanks for the heads up, I don't watch TV or keep up with pop culture and would've likely missed it at least for a bit and could use something to watch... fargo series is fantastic

Though the stories aren't necessarily connected, there are some subtle connections in some of the characters I believe, even though it's an entirely new cast each season.

Jesse Plemons (Todd from breaking bad) was pretty good. He makes a great creepy guy. I didn't realize he was married to Kirsten Dunst who starred in Season 2 with him.

Can’t wait!

I rank the seasons 2, 3, 1.

I'd go 3, 2, 1. They're all worth watching, and that's coming from a guy who watches almost no television.

In season three...spoilers...

...I get a kick out of seeing Ewan McGregor play two characters, and I adore both Carrie Coon and Mary Elizabeth Winstead and I think both their roles are awesome. And David Thewlis is wonderful as Varga; his creepy performance lines up with Varga's weird dialogue perfectly. Varga's probably my favorite villain of the series. :)

First 2 episodes pretty good. I like the story line. Lots of quirky characters. Only negative for me is, I just don’t see Chris Rock in that role. Hes a great comedian but at least so far, not a great actor.
