We can talk at lengths about LSU players (and coaches) we dislike, but who have you enjoyed watching? I'm 40, and didn't see Pete, so for me, it starts and ends with Shaq.

Chris Jackson was fun to watch when they weren’t playing us.
Jackson was ridiculous in college. Probably one of the top 5-6 I have ever seen play.
Piece of crap person from what I have heard but crazy good basketball player in college.
I always liked Tyrus Thomas. Plus his team knocked the J.J. Redick / Greg Paulus Duke team out of the tournament if memory serves me right.

Pistol and there's no debate. Shaq was great, but a distant 2nd.
Pistol got a standing ovation at Memorial, after scoring 53 or 55. As ohiodon says there is no debate. You had to see him in person to believe and I did for 3 years.
I hate Ricky Blanton..can still picture him with his arms on the air.
I really don’t think that was a screw job though. We were the #1 seed and they were the #11 seed. They had to beat the 6, 3 and 2 seed to get to us.
We also had Alabama in that bracket though and beat them for a fourth time before playing LSU

I've never gotten the Pete Maravich thing. He plays ball and takes shots the quality of Lamelo Ball.
Rudy Macklin and Dwane Scales were nightmares for us at the time when LSU was really at the height of their game. The games down there were the most hyped over the top scenes I can remember on the road. But as far as fun to watch it would be Pistol and Chris Jackson. I remember thinking how to you guard Jackson, he's pulling up from 30.
They put 3 out of the four SEC NCAA tournament teams in the same region. I think they screwed the SEC and UK.
Obviously, I've seen plenty of footage. I thought the ESPN 30 for 30 was really good. ...as they all are.
I'm 81 years old and have witnessed a lot of basketball during my lifetime. Pete Maravich was the best best college player I have ever watched. He was a wizard with the ball.
