@fylm I'm sure you have some good recs. I'm a huge fan of Sam the Cooking Guy, who admittedly, has no culinary training other than trial and error.

Also really like NOT ANOTHER COOKING SHOW. YouTube really makes good cooking accessible; I'm interested in where the rest of you folks get recipes from.

STCG sells too many chatchskys and purposefully cuts and burns himself. Either that or he’s got the worst knife skills I’ve ever seen.

his Asian garlic wings are dope tho.

I watch Matty Mathesson, allthingsbarbecue w/Chef Tom, Mike Colamecco’s Real Food, How to BBQ Right with Malcom Reed

I like the blonde dude with the funky hair that has the red car, the dude that eats nasty stuff, the Italian chick with the big forehead and boobs and the old broad that went to prison. Lady on YouTube named Betty's kitchen that makes good old country food and a bunch of biker dudes that make man cave meals outside on the grill.

They're all terrible but sure I've watched my share. Any that concern bbq I'm all in. The rest depend on how attractive the hostess of the show is.

The recipe network on Dish is petty good as far as a channel dedicated solely to cooking.

If she is entertaining and cooks creative ****, I certainly want to see "an ugly broad cook". Have fun being an uber religious hypocrite though.
You seem to be bothered, and under the mistaken impression I remotely care.

Sorry I'm just now seeing this.

Here are the resources I like/use often:

Kenji Lopez-Alt, The Food Lab

Daniel Gritzer, Serious Eats

Meathead Goldwyn; amazingribs.com

Watch/Read "Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat" by Samin Nosrat

Stella Parks; Serious Eats/ "Bravetart"

Of the big Foodie magazines I feel that Food and Wine has the best recipes. I consult theirs a lot.

I'm also a big fan of the work Roy Choi and Jon Favreau do on "The Chef Show"

Books:

"Techniques" - Jacques Pepin

"Babbo" - Mario Batali

"Le Bernardin" - Eric Ripert

"The French Laundry Cookbook" - Thomas Keller

"Treme" - Lolis Eric Elie

"The Lee Brothers Southern Cookbook" - Matt Lee and Ted Lee
