I’m a neat freak. I value my kitchen especially.

I'm also always cooking... If any of you folks have a Franke, Blanco or Elkay Stainless steel sink or a Viking range - you may want to invest in a bottle of this **** and apply minimal pressure.

it takes off grease, funk and tarnish like a badass. Your stainless will be mirror like clean.

what’s your go to around the house?

For spot cleaning. Wife hates the smell of other things and this is pretty much odorless. Plus it's like a dollar.

Clorox Wipes and Magic Eraser for the really messy stuff.

An old one of these giant *** head toothbrushes when it's time to get a scrubbin'

Contact Havensmetals for a legitimate stainless steel sink. If you have to use a commercial product to keep it clean, then the grade of the metal is pure crap and you got ripped off.

Will be lucky to find any cleaning products at your local Walmart, Kroger, etc. People are losing their minds on this Coronavirus. People are being so selfish and hoarding things. Buying waaaaaaaay more than they really need, then others go without it. My wife was just at Sam's Club. ALL paper products are gone. Hand sanitizer gone. Just ridiculous!!

Try home depot. The lady hoarders don't think of that place for TP and home cleaning products. The one closest to me had plenty of that stuff yesterday.

Right now, Clorox wipes. When I leave the house I am wiping down everything I touch beforehand with one with my latex gloved hands. Overkill? Not when your over 60. Especially in a state under a declared emergency where grocery stores have huge lines, bare shelves, and the National Guard has been activated.

Dawn dish soap is the greatest cleaner

it cleans oil covered animals for crying out loud
We had a garbage truck puke out some type of nasty **** , greenish color, oily film on it, in our parking lot recently. One of the old dudes busted out some Dawn, spread it around with a push broom and hosed it off. That nasty **** rolled right off the ground. This was after the maintenance guys tried to clean it with some industrial stuff that did not work

You obviously know a lot about cooking and cleaning and maybe even kitchens. You know nothing about ASTM codes and the actual difference between legitimate grades of stainless materials.

I know enough to tell you there are ASTM standards - not CODES.

I design and specify plumbing fixtures for luxury condos. As I originally posted, I said I use BKF on my personal Blanco sink and get amazing results...Blanco also uses the highest quality SS.

So truly, I don’t know what the **** you’re talking about.

Target makes a real good de-greaser spray and that **** is MONEY. All that gunk around your stove and the cabinets above.. gone.

2nd would be a nice handheld shop vac or stick vacuum. Very nice when you live in a tight space/old house.

I use about 6 things for cleaning:
Broom & Dustpan
Vacuum
Steam mop
Dawn
Microfibre
Brush

To carry on the stainless steel Convo all I ever use for our stuff is Dawn soapy water to clean and microfiber towel to dry and polish.

I don't really have a "kit" necessarily but I always need to have Spic and Span, spray bleach, vinegar, barkeeper's friend, and The Works on hand. Also, I like paper towels for the bathroom, rags for everywhere else, and a scrub brush for the rare occasion that I scrub my tile floors (only the textured ones).
