Ice cream = happiest food on the planet.

Current fave: Blue Bell Neapolitan. Made with real strawberries.

Second place: H.E.B. Poteet Strawberry. Includes loads of strawberries. Seasonal.

Others: Vanilla, Chocolate, Butter Pecan.

Cherry Garcia is my favorite
Graters black raspberry chocolate chip is up there (and very similar to cherry Garcia)
Cookies and cream is a nice change up, or anything toffee

Also - growing up - Smurf Ice Cream at King's Island (don't know WTF its called now) - which was a blueberry soft serve. Amazing. Probably my favorite part of going to the damn theme park. Its really hard to find blueberry ice cream now though for some reason - that's usually amazing when I can find it.

I prefer smooth ice cream to anything with chunks or bits of stuff in it, so for me it would be:

1. Haagen daz Belgian chocolate
2. Old spaghetti factory spumoni
3. Superman
4. Anything with a caramel or fudge swirl
5. Haagen daz caramel cone.

I had you figured for Blue Bell Listeria.

Overrated, tbh.

I see a lot of butter pecan, and I certainly won't trash a good butter pecan, like I wont't trash any good cream, but Prailines and Cream is not getting it's due. To me it is in the same family as butter pecan, but it's better. Jmho.

Choc chip cookie dough
Any chocolate and PB combo
Cookies n Cream

^ hard to beat those staples.

Comfy Cow in Lousivlle is amazing. Probably tried 10 or more different flavors there and have never come away unimpressed. Their tiramisu and Mexican Chocolate Ole are unreal.

But if sticking with traditional flavors, give me mint chocolate chip or just plain chocolate.
