I guess besides the throwback jerseys and the Peters interception return, theres not much. I do remember the game being pretty crowded though, i doubt it will be the same energy for this years game

It was fun, despite the result and when I bought the tickets I was looking forward to seeing Dan Persa have a monster day, which of course was not to be. Will be back there for more on Sat and an upset will mitigate the freezing temp. GO CATSTrumpy had a really nice long TD run.
And watching the teams switch sides of the field was pretty funny.
NU scored a defensive touchdown in the “not safe enough for touchdowns” end zone. That was cool.Trumpy had a really nice long TD run.

Folks sometimes forget that Hankwitz was forced to simplify the defense due to mental breakdowns that allowed big plays in 2010-2011. So perhaps it is not surprising that the 2021 D had trouble adapting to what JON has been trying to implement.I'm just amazed at how bad the defense was. Then Wisconsin put up 70 points in THREE quarters the following week. This reminds me that Hank's D wasn't ALWAYS roses.
Actually, they didn't switch sides of the field, they switched spots on the same sideline. Since both teams were required to play in the same direction, the switch was theoretically necessary because one team was always further from the action due to the way the field was configured. Of course the same direction situation also eliminated "wind strategy" which can sometimes have a considerable impact on a game. All of this, plus the cold weather, the terrible seats and the loss has caused me to have horrible memories of this fiasco. I hope all have a better experience this time around.Trumpy had a really nice long TD run.

I meant the offense and defense had to switch sides on the field itself. Don’t see that often.Actually, they didn't switch sides of the field, they switched spots on the same sideline. #FireHankTwo words: Mikel LeShoure. I think he’s still running. He ran for 330 yards by himself and the Illini ran for 519 as a team. Five-nineteen. That’s nearly 100 more yards than Nebraska ran for this season (427).![]()
