I've been on a Dijon kick lately with my ham sandwiches, love the spicy kick. You really can't go wrong with Inglehoffer stone ground, it really tops a bratwurst perfectly. Of course there's not many condiments more versatile than plain yellow mustard (its even good for throwing at refs). I even like ground mustard seed as a secret ingredient in chili.

If I had to pick one mustard to rule them all though, I'm choosing Gulden's spicy brown. It's great on so many different things, always available, and still pretty low cost.

What is everyone else's thoughts on mustards?

Finally, a topic in my wheelhouse...

- Plochman's for yellow.
- Gulden's or White Castle Dusseldorf for everything else

Need to try that banana pepper mustard that Ouita Michel uses in her restaurants.

You can get this at Wal-Mart, there’s also a bunch of Great Value Brand mustards too, Chipotle, Cuban, etc. Mustard is one of those things I really wish I could like but unless it’s honey mustard or honey Dijon I’m not a fan.

Stadium Mustard from Ohio is hands down my favorite. Best thing to ever come from Ohio.

Plochman's for yellow.

Got to agree with this one. This summer I got on a bit of a hot dog kick. Got my grilling technique down to a science. Nathan's Famous jumbo beef franks grilled until the ends begin to split open, Pepperidge Farm top sliced buns toasted for 20 seconds on a hot grill, slathered in Plochman's yellow mustard. Dayuuuuumm! That's some good eatin'!

For real though, if you haven't added wasabi mustard to your condiment collection, you're missing out. Toasted baguette with wasabi mustard and thinly sliced prosciutto is a damn tasty little treat.

I have a mini fridge full of condiments and sauces. Little bit of a problem.

Depends on the purpose. I put a brown mustard in a quinoa/tuna meal I make. I like yellow French’s on my corn dogs and hot dogs. A fancy brown on brats. And, a banana pepper mustard on Johnsonvilles.

I'll have you know I have local organic farmers that supply me with all of my ketchup and mustard needs
Lol. And you think you’re getting better products too, just because it says “organic”. Got news for you. It’s the same thing. Only the label is different. Organic farming has capitalized on recent trends. Good for them. But they’re pulling the wool over your eyes. And that’s taking away from regular farmers, like me. So, bad for me. Y’all need to study up on chemistry. It’s amazing ****.

Excuse me? I spend about 60 hours a week monitoring what goes into my ketchup and mustard. My wife left me and my kids want nothing to do with me. But I'll be buried in the cold, cold ground before I recognize a mustard seed that wasn't fertilized with all natural cow poo.

Are we talking eating or throwing at UT football games?

For eating I don't have a fav, except for hotdogs I like the cheap yellow stuff.
