UK chose to move when they realized he wasn’t coming here and they knew they had to transition fast to find someone else. How do you secure someone that is choosing to go elsewhere?
You give him more money. Kentucky was top 2. Which means it comes down to money.

The night b4 he committed he asked for more time, according to MJ. If it was just money he wouldn’t need time. You can’t always just out pay the other team. They made their max offer and he said no. You move on
But that's exactly my point. If there are 0 top WR's left and you are top-2 why would you move on from a guy who needs "more time" instead of just doing everything you can to land him. The next highest ranked WR is 50 position spots down the board.

This mentality is the wrong one to have. D1 is full of dudes who started on the FCS, talent is talent. Ole Miss was led to the brink of the national title game by an FCS recruit
True, but it is also fair to ask how Cam Miller, Quisenberry, Gilmore, and DJ would have performed at that level when attempting to project Carr at UK.

This and the Antonio Banderas gif are probably my two all-time favorites

It is, but people assume Stein asked them to leave, these players most likely left own their own, in fact I’m very confident cam miller did. We have a need and he was a up and comer who would have fit well into a spread offense. The money or coach loyalty is a real draw for some and if the left on their own, that’s on them not Stein.

Not sure about taking a FCS recruit, hopefully he’s a diamond in the rough and maybe can translate to SEC
JMO, but it's totally fine to chance on a few FCS recruits..... I just don't want a recruiting / portal full of them.

I like the video but am not sure it's correct, or if it's wrong, when he talks about money in Coal Mining, Agriculture and Horses. Have they spent money before on football? Will they in the future?
