It's amazing to have a staff that actually gets out there and works, instead of complaining about NIL or other issues.
What’s up with kids haircuts these days? Did they look at the mop in the broom closet and tell the barber to give them that? I see mop tops everywhere!

My son has the exact same thing going on. It’s just the style I reckon.i put product in his tho so it don’t look like a dirty bird nest.
It for sure is, every kid I see especially if they play sports have this style.

I’ll admit, I don’t follow FB recruiting as close as basketball, but what’s up with all of the 4* offers? Are the 5*s already off the board or something?

Haha. I hear you brother. I laughed at Christmas at my parents house while everyone got out the old photo albums. It was awesome to be honest but man I thought that I was cool as a cucumber in high school. No mop top but I sure had the jel going on. lol.
How amazing is this staff ladies and gentlemen? You have to go after the best of the best in order to get them instead of not even trying. Love it.

UK doesn’t waste their time recruiting 5 stars since they don’t have a chance. Atleast that’s the way it’s been in the past. They might send a message to guage interest but UK tops out at 4 stars. There’s probably only been a handful of 5 stars go to UK in the last 30 years.
Our best chance at a 5 star is getting a former 5 star out of the portal who got injured or didn’t play at their old school.
There's only 30 or so 5 stars each year. The top 1 of 3 at each position. That's typically been the Bama, Ohio St, LSU's fighting over them .
Is it not true? I’m sure in the past the staffs have sent the standard letters or phone call to a few 5 stars each year just to see if it’s worth their time going after them but i seriously doubt they were casting the same net for 5 stars that Bama, UGA, Texas or OSU were.
There’s only so many recruiters and so much time to recruit. You have to put your attention and resources towards realistic recruits or you’re left scrambling at the end of the signing period and wind up with a bunch of 3 and 2 stars because you were desperate and needed to fill roster spots.
Those were the Joker days, and many fans thought just like him, as we see here.
Stoops & Co changed that immediately. We went after 5 stars and landed some. Tons of 4 stars as well. The ungrateful want to rewrite history simply because they were wrong about everything. Ssdd
