Originally signed with FSU before transferring to PSU. ALL HAIL THE PORTAL.

This sums it up pretty well. These kids have to give it their best shot. YOLO.I can't see why he wouldn't. Without knowing where he is academically, you are only young once and if you enjoy football, why not go somewhere where you have a chance to play? It may be the last time in your life you play organized football.
is he a grad transfer now? if not, won't he have to sit out next year? he used his one time pass.I can't see why he wouldn't. Well, he didn't play football in 2020. Maybe that factors in. AJ Lytton was so close to being so sensational on the coverage teams.Rhule was keeping a close eye on the Penn State situation, sources said, where James Franklin ultimately landed a big extension, and may have pursued the LSU opening as well had they been more interested in him.
The last part of that sentence is priceless. Oh wait, it isn’t priceless. It was worth $85 million!
blion, the rule states that he would have to sit, but there are numerous examples of people entering the portal 2 or 3 times and not sitting out. The NCAA seems to have walked away from most enforcement of any rules related to football, well except for a few schools that they want to annoy regarding NIL.is he a grad transfer now? if not, won't he have to sit out next year? he used his one time pass.
I did not know this. Can you give a name? Tia.blion, the rule states that he would have to sit, but there are numerous examples of people entering the portal 2 or 3 times and not sitting out. Well, JT Daniels is in the portal for the second time. I know Va. Tech's starting QB from this year is in the portal for the second time. I am not doing it justice. I have heard Rick Neuheisel talk about it on several occasions.I did not know this. Can you give a name? Tia.
Good enough. It will all become clear soon enough.Well, JT Daniels is in the portal for the second time. I know Va. Tech's starting QB from this year is in the portal for the second time. I am not doing it justice. I have heard Rick Neuheisel talk about it on several occasions.
JT Daniels is a graduate transfer. Va. Tech QB Braxton Burmeister is also a graduate transfer. In addition, Burmeister was forced to sit a year after his first transfer but grad transfers can play immediately.Well, JT Daniels is in the portal for the second time. I know Va. Okay, are you saying that unless it's a graduate transfer there have been no exceptions to the "second transfer means you sit out a year" rule? We keep going back to this.JT Daniels is a graduate transfer. Va. Tech QB Bfaxton Burmeister is also a graduate transfer. In addition, Burmeister was forced to sit a year after his first transfer but grad transfers can play immediately.
I don't think he even traveled to the Bowl with the team. The only surprise is why it took so long? His name was no longer included on our roster as of last week.
The one time transfer rule got passed less than a year ago. Time will tell.Okay, are you saying that unless it's a graduate transfer there have been no exceptions to the "second transfer means you sit out a year" rule? We keep going back to this.
He played at FSU in 2019, did not play football in 2020 and took classes at community college, then came to PSU in 2021. Even if hes not a grad transfer, doesn’t appear to have used “the one time pass.”is he a grad transfer now? if not, won't he have to sit out next year? he used his one time pass.
that is correct, and it was noted as an exception to the sit out rule. I am not even sure if it was intended to be permanent. I looked for examples, but could not find any doing their second transfer who were NOT a grad transfer, which is not considered an exception. With the rule so new, this would really be the first year you could see this. The one time transfer rule got passed less than a year ago. Time will tell.
Like ….Quantum mechanicsGood enough. It will all become clear soon enough.
