Neither did the entire B12. In fact, the B12 teams - none of whom signed a 5 star - averaged just 1 1/2 4 star kids per class. ie, for all intents and purposes, the entire league has essentially no "blue chippers" coming in.
The future is always somewhat uncertain, but the B12 and the ACC are well on their way to becoming "G5" leagues.
It will be interesting to see what happens when the Big Boys of the B10 and SEC go on the "raid and pillage" of other rosters to fill out their new 105 man scholarship rosters.
I don't think it will come as any surprise if 10 years from now (especially if Clemson, FSU, and - maybe - Miami escape the ACC) the B10 and the SEC become, essentially, the AFC and the NFC of college football - with the rest as essentially second division clubs.
Blue Chippers (4 and 5 star recruits)
SEC: 20 5 Star, 177 4 Star
B10: 10 5 Star, 107 4 Star
B12: 0 5 Star, 26 4 Star
ACC: 0 5 Star, 45 4 Star (of which, 28 are to Clemson, FSU, Miami - leaving just over 1 per team for the rest)
It is essentially two entirely different talent levels between the have's (SEC, B10) and the have not's (ACC, B12)
