So NOT a wood. Or a driver.
But not a putter.
And certainly let us hope it's not a ball retriever, extended or not.
Actually I did put from the rough the other day. Greens were insanely fast and the pin was too close to wedge it out, so putter and made my par.

Golf
Something you spend a lot of time and money on, and the goal is to stroke it into the hole. You can practice by yourself, but it's not as much fun as the real thing. Foursomes are the norm and no one seems to mind waiting their turn. Sometimes, watching others is just as much fun as playing your own strokes. If you are not tired at the end, then chances are you didn't put much effort into it. It's not unusual to end the effort with a meal and a drink, to celebrate what you accomplished.
Golf - nothing else is quite like it.
She can definitely play and competed in college. Incredibly nice too and very curious about the game and how pros approach it.
