Really good discussion about the global decline/collapse of fertility rates on this week's 'Interesting Times' with NYT writer Ross Douthat. He and his guest get into the weeds on contributing factors and consequences, as well as ways to maybe reverse course (though they are not optimistic). They did sort of distill one of the major reasons for the decline into the introduction of a certain device though....wanna guess what it is?
