Good stuff and interesting to hear. One thing CJF was good at was keeping whatever was happening in the locker room to the locker room. Glad these guys are getting a chance to talk.

Also, word is Allar leaked the Kraft speech at the meeting Mack helped organize. Oof.

If there is any truth to that, his draft stock will fall that much further.
His fan bois are trying to maintain that he recorded it but didn't leak it and I say that doesn't matter at all: BOTH are cancerous, toxic and wrong. With that said...it was Allar who recorded it AND leaked it and he is gone like Archway chocolate chip icebox cookies...or like CRUMBL cookies for the matter 😂

The people leaking the Allar info are no better.
What is important is that Matt Campbell knows. What is not important is that the fans know. With both things said, if the people who leaked it that it was Allar, are necessary for Matt Campbell to know, then I disagree with you. He has to know, and that's the bottom line. How he finds out is not important.

True but we dont need to hear it. It can cause problems. We dont know who it was. Lets say it was a player we NEED going forward. Then what?

PS. Sometimes things are leaked because the person in charge is a moron.

Seems to me even if a toxic locker room presence is an outstanding player, the team may be better off without him. That said, I have no knowledge about the facts of this case and I make no specific recommendations.

Too bad if true whomever leaked it. which would show where his loyalties lie, not with PSU.

Clear that some of these young men have never worked a real job in their life. This is what happens at companies every day when leadership is fired or leaves and new folks come in to take their place (for whatever reason). The people left behind have to decide how they will conduct themselves; you hope professionally. For people who want to negotiate big bucks for their NIL and have a brand and do all of the big boy things, they sure have no concept of how any of this really works.

That's Allars voice closest to the mic
It’s interesting there is a rumor on a different message board that it was Allar who leaked it. I hope it’s just a nasty rumor and not true. Secretly recording and leaking confidential locker room talk is a big deal at all levels of football.

Someone in the comments on the above tweet said it and others seemed to agree. It has not been confirmed by anyone of substance that I am aware of but am told the meeting was small and would be easy to figure out who it was.

Recording the meeting might be a violation of Pennsylvania state law., but you might want to check that with Squeegee Mangione.
Pennsylvania is one of the few states that require all parties in a conversation to consent before a conversation can be legally recorded. This rule applies to in-person, telephone, and electronic communications under 18 Pa. Cons. Stat. § 5703. So, whoever did it, committed committed a third-degree felony.

Probably why Kraft or anyone significant hasn’t leaked/confirmed the name; no need to make this worse than it is/was.

I would imagine that whoever it was will not be retained by PSU next season if they still have eligibility. God bless Campbell for taking this job, which requires a good bit of work to clean out the rot that is in the program. Coaches and players make a lot of money in college football and there’s an expectation that both sides of that equation perform. With tens of millions of dollars invested the school has every right to make changes.

Wire tapping violations are rarely prosecuted. Also, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court weakened the statute by adding to the express language a reasonable expectation of privacy.

Well he’s spoken highly of Allar especially in the past so if it was him who leaked he’s probably more “good riddance” and will keep his mouth shut. No reason for him to comment on it now.
