What is important is that Matt Campbell knows. What is not important is that the fans know. With both things said, if the people who leaked it that it was Allar, are necessary for Matt Campbell to know, then I disagree with you. He has to know, and that's the bottom line. How he finds out is not important.

The initial leak to the media is way worse. Can't be trusted. Lack of character. Not a team player. Teammates were rightfully upset.

This rule applies to in-person, telephone, and electronic communications under 18 Pa. Cons. Stat. § 5703. So, whoever did it, committed committed a third-degree felony.
I would imagine that whoever it was will not be retained by PSU next season if they still have eligibility. God bless Campbell for taking this job, which requires a good bit of work to clean out the rot that is in the program. Coaches and players make a lot of money in college football and there’s an expectation that both sides of that equation perform. With tens of millions of dollars invested the school has every right to make changes.
