What did they do to get their numbers retire? Finish around .500 for a couple of years in the PAC and Big 12? I think it would be a good idea for moronic schools (like CO) to link certain "number retirement" to NIL contracts.

I do think that Hunter’s number retirement is justified. He did win the Heisman. Shedeur was a good QB for them, but not to the level of retiring his number.

Tim Tebow has a Heisman and two NC’s and his number isn’t retired.
