And this is why I pity any team that drafts Sanders. What exactly are they retiring their numbers for? What did they win?
He has to sit at the little kids table and refer to his dad as “Prime”.
What did they do to get their numbers retire? Finish around .500 for a couple of years in the PAC and Big 12? I think it would be a good idea for moronic schools (like CO) to link certain "number retirement" to NIL contracts.
I do think that Hunter’s number retirement is justified. He did win the Heisman. Shedeur was a good QB for them, but not to the level of retiring his number.
