On occasion, I wonder the same.
The "problem" is, negativity predominates because there are no consequences ... you can say we stink, or so and so stinks, or we're never going to make it or ... whatever ... and there are no repercussions. If we end up being good and you end up being wrong? No skin off your back ... just ignore your past mistakes, or flippantly say "well, glad I was wrong," or try to frame it you weren't really wrong ("BSU and SMU aren't real teams," etc.) and move on with your life. Nevermind all the negativity you threw out there, in the interim.
We need to implement a punitive "tasing of the genitalia" for each incorrect negative comment that is uttered. For some of you, this will make little to no difference, as you'll have nothing to tase. For the rest, perhaps it'll give you pause before your next venting session.

Do you mean punitive "torture treatment of the genitalia" like the Spanish donkey and the Judas Cradle used to inflict severe pain and humiliation, targeting the genitalia.

At least I think we’re at the point where the AD will not fall for the agent trick of floating “he’s leaving” trial balloons in order to leverage another raise.
