Had lunch today with a group of old friends. One of them has good friend who works at Rupp (apparently in cleaning crew). This lady was driving in Lex and saw Otega with a flat tire so she stopped to help. She had recently lost her mother to cancer and was now living in the house her mother left her. She obviously doesn't make a lot ot money. Next day when she arrived at Rupp to work, there was a new car waiting for her curtesy of Otega. He apparently was asking questions about how she was doing and seemed to suggest he would be checking on her from time to time to see how she was doing. Just thought I would pass along as these guys have had a lot of negative press (some of it well deserved) so good to hear something positive.

That’s awesome! OO always seemed like a decent guy to me. Loved him last year and I hated hearing anything about him possibly causing issues. Nothing was concrete but still he was my favorite Cat. So happy to have him back and last 2 games he has seemed to start playing like we all know he is capable of.

I dont think this true. There's multiple stories online about this but they've used multiple people. The one I've read said the exact same thing but it was Mark Pope instead of Oweh. Someone else commented they read one too, forgot who it was but it was someone different than the two mentioned

Does seem fishy. So, Oweh has a flat tire, and some cleaning crew employee, is driving, and sees Oweh on the side of the road, and offers assistance? Huh?

Lots of issues with this. First one, everyone has a phone, and will immediately seek help.
Triple A, a friend, change your own tire? A cop comes by? Lord knows there’s millions of Lexington cops.

How can people actually fall for this stuff? You actually think if OO (who’s got 4 million in the bank) would’ve been changing his own flat tire and need help? Come on - don’t be this gullible. No way this happened

This is not a fake. I didn't make it up. Could I have been lied to or mis-informed? Sure. But I didn't make it up.

No need to insult the OP. Some people aren't as Internet savvy as others. The Web is changing at rate never seen before. It's changing faster than a lot can keep up. Not everyone was born with a cellphone in their hand.

Well if it’s true, good for them. Use the gifts god blessed them with to help others when they can. If not, oh well they didn’t start the story.

There’s a lot of fake stories on Facebook. Especially on that bond that bridge group. If it’s a website you never heard of, it’s likely a fake story for clicks
Here’s another doozy about Oweh. Supposedly he was at a black tie event with Fortune 500 CEO’s (pictured here along with Mark Zuckerburg) and blew them away with his acceptance speech as the recipient of The Walter Camp Foundation National Community Impact Award. The Walter Camp Foundation award is for the Player of the Year in College FOOTBALL. And he didn't stop at words. That same night, Oweh announced that he is personally donating his entire NIL earnings from the season to fund after-school programs, tutoring centers, and college scholarship funds for underserved kids in his hometown and across the region — proving that leadership isn't just spoken; it's lived.

When has a woman ever helped a man with a flat tire?
