I love this post, mostly because I have a lot of problems with you people.

My grievance is that I think we are going to make it to the championship game and if we do, I'll have to be in Kalifornia that night for business. I can't imagine a worse fate than having to watch the NC there amongst the apathetic communists.

That its going to be in the upper 70's Christmas day and its about 78 now. Sorry but I am used to it being cold on Christmas and if it were 78 and I was in Florida I could understand but I am in Arkiesaw. I have never worn short sleeved britches on Christmas Day but I may this year.

Stupid dumb football fans, or those that hate football. Gosh. I want a white Christmas.

My only complaint is I would prefer that the playoff games be played on New Year's Day. Fewer college football fans will actually watch the games on New Year's Eve. I don't understand why the powers that be would want to play a playoff game on a afternoon/evening that is one of the biggest party days of the year. My wife and I traditionally have dinner out with our kids since we have to share them with the in laws on New Year's Day. Not this year. And that's a bummer. We all agreed to forgo eating out and stay home to watch the games. Son's wife isn't all that happy, but he was raised a Sooner and wouldn't miss the second game. Please don't bring up the obvious flaw in our thinking.

No grievances....all of you are a bunch of Sooner fans for better or worse......I will take you as you are......I can watch the game any day at anytime. My wife is not grouchy, in fact she is drop dead gorgeous and she goes all "football wife" on game days. The weather here is perpetually good. My health is great (reads: no viagra necessary). Food, song, wine and drink are plentiful, my dogs were happy to see me and my son is in town. It is a real treat to be able to watch the game on TV. I will miss the Orange Bowl but the Championship Game is only a few miles away. Life could not be better.

As I have told several of them, now you can go on you tube and relive it while everyone else who matters plays in bowl games. Enjoy!

Having to wait a month to see my red hot Sooners play again and then potentially having to wait another 10 days to see them play again.
