So far UCF is their own worst enemy. If not for stupid mistakes they should be up 28-3.

UCF makes a helmet to helmet tackle: guys that is just textbook targeting, its going to stand no way that gets overturned.

LSU makes a helmet to helmet tackle: the ball carrier is coming down and hes just trying to make a tackle, regardless of the rule you cant penalize him for that.

Without Milton, UCF has no chance. Their offense simply isn’t the same without him. Even though LSU is practically down to the waterboy on defense.

You have to follow the rules if you’re a ref and that was exactly why the rule was put in. Not only was it helmet to helmet but the receiver was helpless.

UCF’s offense is not good without Milton. Looks like a team where Heupel is calling plays band instructing players based on Landry Jones career “highlights.”

This game will get interesting again if LSU goes into a Monty style conservative shell and tries to run out the clock.

LSU is pulling guys from the stands to play in its secondary. UCF should be throwing the ball deep every play.

UCF has struggled to give Mack enough time to find an open receiver. UCFs speed on offense doesnt overwhelm LSU like it overwhelms AAC opponents. And UCF has killed themselves with self-inflicted mistakes. And yet with 2:24 left, UCF is within 8 of LSU.

LSU recovers the onside kick which was fantastically executed.

Even if they don’t find their way back to tie it, they certainly weren’t embarrassed. And missing one of the best QBs in America.

I sat next to Barrister and his young son at an TU - ORU game about five years ago. Very nice guy and a board regular back in the day.
