They were in the sweet 16 last seasonA big name coach doesn't guarantee success. The Ole Miss basketball coach is a fairly big name and they sucked this year
Booooo! He’s returning next season per David Cloninger
Mike Morgan reporting that we are going to be upping NIL to the $9-11M range.Embarrassing.
Won't make a difference.Mike Morgan reporting that we are going to be upping NIL to the $9-11M range.
It’s frustrating. They think NIL is the issue.Booooo!
Another season of me not following 1 minute.
I don’t think it will either.Won't make a difference.
The scariest part is that they tripled what they gave them last season and thought that would be competitive. 9-11 million may not be enough.Won't make a difference.
What was it previously?Mike Morgan reporting that we are going to be upping NIL to the $9-11M range.
I still have eligiblity.Mike Morgan reporting that we are going to be upping NIL to the $9-11M range.
I hope you are wrong, but fear you are right, and I'm sure you agree with me.Won't make a difference.
Keep a copy as a souvenir of previous good times.NIL= Throwing good money after bad. I'm currently in my last year of GC membership and football tickets after 55 years. The early years were complimentary of my father. I'll frame my card that has 55 consecutive years on it. Maybe mail it to the athletic department and tell them they got what they wanted.
What was it previously?
We spent just under $6M for this team. Morgan said 3 years ago, that would have been a ton of money for basketball. We basically put up triple what we had, and everyone else upped the spending even more. So we don’t know if 9-11 million is even enough at this point. What was it previously?
Mike Morgan said we we basically tripled the amount available for this season. One source said this was doubling the amount, so maybe 4-5 before?
Keeping Paris guarantees failure though. He can't coach. Anyone with eyes could see that this year.A big name coach doesn't guarantee success. The Ole Miss basketball coach is a fairly big name and they sucked this year
We lost too many games in the final minutes this year to feel good about coaching... that is when we weren't getting smoked.Won't make a difference.
It appears you and your boy Matt Anderson were incorrect. We spent less than you suggested (near the bottom of the SEC). It doesn't appear Paris left money on the table as you suggested. He’s returning next season per David Cloninger

Possible but I confirmed both are not true.Couldn't both still be true?
Attended a couple Wingate football games the last few seasons. One was against Lenior-Rhyne, a rivalry game, and conference championship implications involved. It was the most entertaining college game I have seen in person. Was at their senior day this season, very fun environment. For the moment, I'll stick with WBB, and maybe D-II and D-III schools.
Softball joining in on the losing fun. Baseball just status quo losing now, getting blown out by the Fortress of Knowledge. The University of South Carolina Fighting Gamecocks.....................We Love to Lose.
Should be the mission statement of our athletics department.
Is awesome. I've been to a couple - Mississippi at home a couple of years ago, and vs Georgia in Athens last season..The good thing is, if the program is bad yet again, people don't have to attend games or could change the channel on the tv. Also we do have one of the very best woman's basketball programs and I hear that is an awesome experience to attend those games.
Nevermind the fact that I literally stated we spent at the bottom of the SEC just recently, that the number was between 5-6 million, and that what it would take is 9-11M all according to Matt Anderson and Mike Morgan… yet somehow I was wrong lolCouldn't both still be true?
